We welcome you to join the MS-Take Charge and the Parkinson's Wellness Initiative as we  partner to host the Neuro "Walk & Roll" event on May 3, 2025.  Together these two Eau Claire area grassroots nonprofit organizations are dedicated to empowering individuals living with neurological conditions to live their best lives! 

 

Through this collaborative event, we aim to build awareness.  Our programs (under the umbrella of our respective organizations) allow us to offer benefits through therapeutic movement, adaptive sports, increasing mobility and community engagement. The theme "Moving Together is Healing Together" captures the essence of this initiative.

 

The Neuro "Walk & Roll" event May 3, 2025 will be a day of celebration, where community members can participate in various activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.

 

This event will start and end at the Pablo Center in downtown Eau Claire and will take a 1 mile route along the scenic Riverside Park.  Participants will be able to connect with others, enjoy drinks, food and entertainment in the Gibson Street Room afterwards.

If you’re unable to join us in person for the Walk & Roll Neuro Walk, you can still have a significant impact! Consider becoming a sponsor or making a donation to support the individuals in our community living with MS and Parkinson’s. Your contribution will not only help ensure the success of the Neuro Walk & Roll Event but also help fund therapeutic classes, educational events, and critical support resources, making a meaningful difference in their lives. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps empower those with neuro diseases to thrive.​  

100% of funds raised through this event will remain within our local community, directly benefiting programs and services that support individuals & families right here in Eau Claire, WI.

MS-Take Charge

MS-Take Charge is a nonprofit organization founded by Shelly Sutley, who lives with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and is dedicated to empowering others with the condition. Located in Eau Claire, WI, MS-Take Charge provides movement classes—including therapeutic yoga and cycling—as well as a support group where individuals can connect, share experiences, and find encouragement. With a focus on fostering resilience and community, MS-Take Charge is committed to enhancing the lives of people with MS. 

Parkinson's Wellness Initiative

The Parkinson’s Wellness Initiative is a dedicated wellness collaboration serving Western Wisconsin’s Parkinson’s community. Extending patients' ongoing and post-therapy care, the initiative works closely with each individual to provide the most appropriate services tailored to their needs. With a goal of building a unified network of support, the Parkinson’s Wellness Initiative offers resources and connections that enhance both the well-being and quality of life for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease.
